Baskets are charming representations of holding the things that we enjoy. Hand-woven styles and colors are interesting and artful. Baskets that hold food presentations are most special. During the Easter holiday, I like to carve small watermelon baskets for each individual. The filling can be creative. One of my favorite chilled concepts consists of medallions of chilled lobster and cooked (but chilled) medallions of sweet potatoes. Once arranged in each of the watermelon baskets, top the layering with your favorite chilled salad dressing. It’s easy, which leaves more time for celebrating this blessed season.
